Kade is off the feeds :(

Well, Kade is off his feeds for a while. He was not tolerating them at all and was dumping everything they gave him :( so now they are going up on his IV fluids to 16ml/hr, stopping bottle feeds and stopping the continuous feeds thru the feeding tube of 3ml/hr. This is another set back, but pretty much what we expected. He will be off of this at least three to four days. They are giving his stomach time to rest, I suppose.

His MiMi came and visited this morning for a while. He has been very well behaved today and sleeping comfortably. Mimi decorated his room for Christmas. He has a stocking, some garland and decorations AND an elf!! Kenli will be so excited about that elf!

Also, Kade's tooth shaped lovey pillow that he enjoyed so much disappeared after surgery Sunday. My mom made him a new one last night and he has been sleeping with it and has been so soundly sleeping. It just weighs on him like someone is holding him. We have been here 45 mins and he hasn't moved! :) I sure hope he rests better and stops being bad for the nurses.

We are going to go home tonight and hopefully attempt to decorate the tree. We'll see how it goes.
