Josh and I just got to NICU about an hour ago and Kade is not doing as well as he has been. The nurse said he is not himself and has been crying out a lot, but not like the time of the bad surgery...just different.
He doesn't have fever or anything but his eyes are crusted over, he has a stopped up nose, etc. He also has some type of infection on his cheek from the tape that is starting to bleed.
They are worried he may have an upper respiratory infection. It worries me a lot, because in babies, this can lead to RSV. she said at this time they aren't thinking it is that, but his blood counts are low which concerns them.
Waiting on the neo to come in now... prayers please.
