Kade did pretty good today. The doctor is very pleased with his progress. She did say today that best case would be at LEAST 2 more months...and that is absolutely best case. He would still have to get thru two more surgeries (colon reattachment and g-tube to assist with his feeding) before we even think about going home. I am not rushing to go home though, because he is taken care of wonderfully up there and hooked to monitors. The thought of him going home is wonderful and scary all at the same time.
They are keeping the feeds and TPN rate the same and will increase tomorrow.
Kenli was able to hold him today and rock him to sleep again. He did NOT want to eat for some reason this afternoon. He decided to pick the first time Josh tried to feed him to not want to eat.... :( Not sure what that was about. they think he may have been full since they have been increasing the feeds.
Nothing really to report tonight. No news is good news!
