This mornings X-ray and blood work came back ok and so they are starting the feeds back very slowly. There is still no rhyme or reason as to what caused his belly to be distended and him spitting up. We are really hoping we don't find out when they start feeds back today. The goal is no spitting up and no hard and bloated belly. They also took this opportunity to change his formula which they were planning on doing anyway this week, but since he had a day of rest they did it today.
All in all he has had a good day. He wasn't too fussy when we got there and we played on his playmat for a good while. We left him on there he was being so good. Thankful to be able to report good news. I pray that continues! They discharged two more babies out our room last week and now they are discharging one tomorrow and the other next week. We certainly like to see people go home, but it is really hard watching the revolving door and it never getting to us. Soon enough, I know. I just never imagined we could possibly stay here 4 1/2 months. The back and forth and split between kids is getting sooooo old!
