Kade had a rough morning. The surgeon came unannounced and put his g-button in. It was pretty bad. The nurse said after the surgeons left she cried and Kade cried. She said it was pretty rough on him. It took her about 45 mins to calm him down. :(
As far as the dumping, it does seem like he just has good days and bad days. There is no major changes and he decides to dump. Then on days when they change Things he doesn't dump. He is certainly trying to tell us that he will do what he wants.
His weight last night increased 20g. He had lost 20g two days in a row, so this was good. I am not sure exactly what he weighs now but it's about 10.4.
Plan for going home.... GAIN WEIGHT!!!! if he can gain weight without being on TPN, we are Closer to going home. Before we go home, he will have his lip repaired. This should be a quick fix. Recovery should be only about 3-4 days.
His liver levels came back today and are still high. They actually all went up, which is odd considering the TPN stopped on Wednesday, but who knows. They are giving a new medicine to attempt to help with his liver function. Let's hope it works!!!
So as of right now, that is it. Gallbladder surgery: still recovering. Thought I was good to go but then had a really rough day yeaterday and I have been having more uncomfortableness today. Soon all of us will be healthy, God willing!!

Even though Kade had a terrible morning, I am so impressed with the fact that he has such GRAND, CARING nurses caring for him. The very fact that she took the time to comfort him speaks VOLUMES!!! That boy is going to leave broken hearts all over Woman's Hospital when he leaves!
